The ACFSJ offers a soccer and badminton activity in French! This activity is aimed at players who play for passion, regardless of their level.

Soccer in French
Soccer is a sport of teamwork, self-esteem, team spirit and competition. Football develops individual and collective qualities. Playing football allows you to feel better about yourself and others.
Football is a great spectacle.
Practice Day
- Sunday morning from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the CGV gymnasium*(Change of schedule)
- Wednesday evening from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in the CGV gymnasium
Important note: Schedule change for Sunday soccer
Please note that Sunday soccer sessions will now take place from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. and no longer from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (updated April 9, 2025).

5 good reasons to play badminton
“It’s probably one of the most physical sports out there,” says François Béland, co-owner of the Fradette Sport store and a badminton player since he was young. This sport requires many muscles and joints, as well as the players’ cardiovascular capacity, because the shuttlecock, in constant motion, requires frequent and rapid movements.
- Strategic mind : Develop your tactical thinking and your ability to anticipate the opponent's movements.
- Less risk of injury : With its controlled movements, badminton has a relatively low risk of injury compared to other sports.
- Accessible and social : Easy to learn, this sport allows you to create bonds with other players.
- Little equipment required : A racket, shuttlecocks and a pair of suitable shoes are all you need to get started.

The practice sessions will be held on Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the gymnasium of the CGV Center

Important note:
Badminton is now open to children aged 14 and over, but they must be accompanied by their parents.
Please take note of this new rule.
Concept & Practice
The concept of these practices is to:
- Fencourage friendly play between players.
- Chelp newcomers develop their social ties,
- Ooffer a new fun activity to French speakers and;
- Chelp everyone to be in good physical health
Practice :
- The practices take place at Center Des Grands-Vents (in case of bad weather the activity is cancelled)
- Equipment : indoor sports shoes required. Bring your gear!
- Who: ACFSJ members (16 years and older).
- Cost: Free for members - when registering you can choose to make a
- Contribution of 15$ to support the program.
