Immerse yourself in vibrant short films that celebrate commitment, creativity, and resilience within our communities. Fernand the Santa Claus, a man who embodies the magic of sharing and who lives only to spread happiness, to Cafeteria, where women and youth in New Brunswick are working to transform school food, each of the films in this series invites us to discover meaningful stories.

With The Children of the NomadsEvelyne Papatie offers us an intimate and powerful account of heritage and transmission within Indigenous communities. Finally, Inhabiting dance Introducing Sylvie Mazerolles, a passionate dancer who shares her journey and her commitment to younger generations.

Mehdi Cayenne in concert in Saint-Jean for Francophonie Week

As part of the Francophonie WeekThe Saint-Jean Francophone Community Association (ACFSJ) invites the community to participate in a festive and unifying evening on Friday, March 20, 2026 At Grands-Vents School and Community Center.

The evening will begin at 5 p.m. with a community buffetorganized by French-speaking reception TNLThis convivial moment will allow community members to come together around a meal, to exchange ideas and to celebrate the richness of the Francophonie in Newfoundland and Labrador.

HAS 7 p.m.The public will be able to attend Mehdi Cayenne concert, an artist renowned for his energetic stage presence and unique musical style. His performance promises a dynamic and festive evening that will bring together fans of Francophone music. This show is presented in collaboration with the Francophone Cultural Network of Newfoundland and Labrador.

The event is open to the whole family and provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the French language, culture and vitality of the Francophone community of Saint-Jean.
