Since the creation of Francophone Affairs in 1995, the Minischool of Medicine has offered conferences whose principle is the development of training programs offered in French at the Faculty of Medicine. These include the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, Postgraduate Medical Education Program, Continuing Medical Education, and Medical Education Research.
the mandate also extends to other files such as:
- student recruitment
- the development of clinical internship locations
- recruiting French-speaking teachers
- professional development and pedagogical training of teachers
- the creation of educational materials in French
- creating opportunities for exchange and collaboration on a national and international scale
