We invite you to come in large numbers to celebrate the start of the school year and to enjoy a musical, friendly and festive afternoon in French.

SeanT Le Savant is a Caribbean-Canadian musician based in St. John's, Newfoundland. With a blend of neo-soul, folk, reggae, and Caribbean rhythms, he creates moving and infectious music. As a multilingual and multidimensional artist, he particularly enjoys expressing himself melodically in both English and French.

Port-Aux-Poutines is a traditional French-language music duo from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador, formed by Jenna Maloney and Axel Belgarde. With their fiddle, guitar, and foot percussion, Jenna and Axel share Francophone and Newfoundland culture through joyful and catchy songs. They are accompanied on stage by Curdis the Frog, their mascot in a plaid jacket who plays the banjo. Their song "Chapeau," chosen for Manie Musicale 2026, has resonated with Francophone students around the world, and the duo has even been named Ambassadors of Francophone Music.

In addition to being musicians, Jenna and Axel are also passionate educators who lead school workshops to celebrate the French language and Francophone culture through songs.
