Family workshop – African dance: Saturday November 21 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.

We invite you to come with us to discover a variety of dances from the African continent.

Come learn the basic steps and movements in a friendly atmosphere.

How it works ?

Wearing a mask is mandatory upon entering the Center.

Each family/bubble will have their own designated space at a distance of two meters from others, and once you are in your space, masks can be removed.

African dances to keep fit

November 6, 2011 6:30 a.m. / daily During the Regional Youth Gathering which took place on October 21 in Alma, Marcelin Gbazaï had the mandate to make the participants stretch their nerves. To the rhythm of the djembes, the dancer introduced dozens of young people to African dance. The passionate dancer first trained in Africa, mainly in Ivory Coast at the dance and cultural exchange school. . He continued with the African company Les Guirivoires. In order to improve his skills, he continued his career in Europe at the Professional Dance Training Center. After several tours of shows and workshops between Africa, Europe and Asia, he is now in Saguenay to teach his knowledge, his pedagogy and his respect for dance.
