Activities – The Resourceful Ones
The Débrouillards meet once a month (on Tuesdays) for a friendly get-together in French, around a shared meal.
This is a great opportunity to exchange ideas, practice French and meet other members in a relaxed atmosphere.
Summer period (2026)
During the summer, the meetings take place in a restaurant in town. (Meals at your own expense.)

The Débrouillards Lunch is a great opportunity to get together to chat in French and strengthen community ties over a good meal.
The meetings usually take place at the Centre des Grands Vents.
If the activity takes place in a local restaurant, you will be informed in advance. In this case, the meal is at the participants' expense.

Hour : 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Place : Centre des Grands Vents, 65 Ridge Road, John (TNL) A1B 4P5 (usual meeting place)
Contribution : 10 $ per participant when the activity takes place at the Centre

During the summer months, meetings can take place in a local restaurant. In this case, participants are responsible for their own meal.

To participate in events organized at The Work, it is now necessary to obtain a specific access card. These cards can be collected directly from the ACFSJ office.

Wearing a mask is no longer mandatory inside and outside buildings, but everyone's choice must be respected.
