| JOB DESCRIPTION : | Under the authority of the ACFSJ general management, the youth coordinator: • Develops and implements a variety of programming for youth and families • Finds grants and writes applications for special projects • Supervises/ensures the running of youth and family activities • Answers the phone, communicates information to clients, sells tickets for the various activities, etc. • Helps the team plan and organize the activities of the annual program • Participates in some of the ACFSJ activities and shares tasks with other employees to ensure the smooth running of these activities • Performs any other task related to his/her duties or required by his/her immediate superior. |
| REQUIRED PROFILE: | • University degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; • Expertise in planning and project management; • Have an interest in working with the public; • Knowledge of office software (email, word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, etc.); • Ability to work independently and in a team; • Fluency in French and English, both oral and written; |
| REMUNERATION, CONTRACT DURATION AND WORKPLACE: | • Annual salary: 37,000$ and 42,000$ depending on skills and experience; • Full-time employment (37.5 hours per week); • Contract until March 31, 2025, renewable • 1 position to be filled as soon as possible; • The ACFSJ offices are located in St. John's, Newfoundland. |
