Resourceful lunch

The members of the dégréards meet once a month in a restaurant of their choice or at the Center des Grands-vents to share a meal. A moment of conviviality, socialization and sharing. It's a good opportunity to go out, clear your mind and chat together in French.

 Resourceful coffee/tea

Resourceful Coffee/Tea meetings are organized in a café, which aim to combat isolation. In a friendly atmosphere, resourceful people are invited to express themselves on different subjects and to discuss their experiences and emotions linked to the texts read. We offer you a coffee or tea, a good way to meet and discuss the different events of the week.

Resourceful games

The ACFSJ invites you to participate in board game sessions led by Gilles de Decelles. Once a month, the members of the resourcefulness groups come together to participate in board games in order to strengthen social bonds.

 Indoor walk at the Works

At any time, ACFSJ members aged 50 and over can go for free on the indoor walking circuit at The Works (17 Westerland Rd, St. John's, NL A1B 3R7), simply present your membership card at the entrance (the ACFSJ has provided the list of its senior members to The Works).

How does it work?

  • Free for acfsj members
  • No registration required – All you need to do is show up with your ACFSJ membership card during opening hours.

    Information: Opening hours:
  • Monday to Friday: 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday & Sunday: 8:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.

    Other information:
  • Parking is available at the Field House. The passage between the Aquarena and the Field House will be open.
  • There is no entrance through the Aquarena.
  • You must go to reception with your ACFSJ membership card.
