1) Go to this page and fill out the registration form. (Registration required before Thursday, November 26 - information at culture@acfsj.ca- 709-726-4900)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

2) We prepare a pouch<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

3) Come and pick up your pouch at the Center des Grands-Vents or we can deliver it to your home.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>What winter clothes to bring? This is the essential question for travelers who want to go to Canada in winter. Here is some information and tips to help you pack your suitcase, but above all to face the great Canadian cold with peace of mind.
TEMPERATURE SIDE: BETWEEN THAT OF THE THERMOMETER AND YOUR FEELINGS
For newcomers, the first winter can be harsh. Don't worry though, if you are well equipped<\/strong>, you will survive and with a smile (tense but smile all the same)!
In Canada, there are actual temperatures<\/strong> and the temperatures felt<\/strong> (colder due to the wind). It is on these that you must base yourself. In winter, it can sometimes be as cold as -40 (felt), not to mention in remote areas. In general, in cities like Montreal or Quebec, the extremes only last a few days and it is between -15 and -25 the rest of the time.
