A homework help service<\/h4>\n

Our vision is to offer an effective service that will help children complete their homework, in a suitable environment. <\/p>\n

A collaboration between school and community\u2026 <\/h5>\n

As with teachers, in order to best respond to the specific needs of each child, and with the main objectives of contributing to the academic success of these children and helping parents on a daily basis. <\/p>\n

A suitable environment\u2026<\/h5>\n

Children who will follow the homework help program will be in a separate location from where the others will be (who do not have homework or who have already completed it), in order to be able to stay focused. <\/p>\n

A service tailored for families in the community\u2026 <\/h5>\n

We are fully aware that in some of the families attending our schools, none of the parents are fortunate enough to have French as their first language. Therefore, it becomes difficult for these parents to keep pace with their children in their learning. The homework help service is there for everyone to help your children but also free up parent-child time for our families.<\/p>\n

Aware of the needs, for several years the ACFSJ has strived to offer extracurricular activities to children using after-school services. These were varied, and included, for example: fencing, basketball, handball, soccer, drawing, painting, sculpture, puppetry, chess, reading at the library, etc.<\/p>\n

Social activity<\/h5>\n

Since ACFSJ is already the manager and primary user of shared and community spaces outside of school hours in CSCGV, this allows us easy access to, among other things, the library, theatre and gymnasium<\/p>\n

The activities proposed will be of the following 3 themes:<\/p>\n

  • Physical and sporting activities<\/li>\n
  • Social activities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Since ACFSJ is already the manager and priority user of shared and community spaces outside of school hours in CSCGV, this allows us easy access to, among other things, the library, theatre and gymnasium.<\/p>\n

    The ACFSJ, a stable and recognized organization<\/h5>\n
      \n
    • The ACSFJ has existed since 1973, and has largely proven its longevity and stability.<\/li>\n
    • ACFSJ has been managing CSCGV since 2005.<\/li>\n
    • ACFSJ has stable employees present in the facilities, who will ensure monitoring of the quality of services.<\/li>\n
    • ACFSJ already offers a range of activities for its school and community clientele, and therefore has a network of suppliers and partners.<\/li>\n
    • ACFSJ already offers a registration and payment management system, CRM.<\/li>\n
    • Starting in June, ACFSJ will offer a volunteer management system that will allow anyone wanting to get involved with young people to do so easily, while ensuring the necessary safety for our families.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      With coverage from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., the ACFSJ ensures that the needs of families in its community are covered.<\/p>\n

      A cost for families<\/h5>\n

      The target of this program is to offer a unitary and affordable rate for families.<\/p>\n
