Biography:
Lennie Gallant and Patricia Richard share a common passion for music. They have each enjoyed success in their respective musical careers, but have recently discovered that together they produce a unique and fresh sound, while retaining a wisdom that comes from time and experience. With Siren and Sailor, they want to explore a composition that reflects not only their roots and influences, but also their concerns about the current state of the world. Their new project is proving to be an exciting adventure that has opened up new musical and thematic possibilities. They chose the name of the duo from the first song they wrote together, Sirène et Matelot. The song came to them very quickly and in many ways captured the spirit they want to represent with their music. “Siren and Sailor explores the desire to escape, to breathe and to connect to ourselves, to nature, to mythology and to the planet and the universe, in search of what can inspire us to live fully,” they explain
