Dinner and show - dishes from around the world

In partnership with COMPAS ', ACFSJ invites you to discover typical dishes around the world !!

In this culinary discovery program, with musical performances, dance and many other surprises.

7pm: Welcome Cocktails with Kyle Mooney and Adrian House, cheese and 'charcuterie' tasting, and exhibition of visual art with local artist Dominique Hurley, Mathew Parnell, Ilse Hiughes, Catherine Chafe and Majella Sharpe.

8pm: Concert - Antoine Lachance and Etienne Fletcher 

 COUP DE COEUR FRANCOPHONE 2018 presents Antoine Lachance and Étienne Fletcher, two young artists full of talent.

Revealed to the public by the popular show La Voix, Antoine Lachance is a key artist of the emerging scene. His career, as prolific as his talent, has lead him to the four corners of the province with his first album, Cimetière d'avions (Cemetery of Planes), launched in 2016.

Étienne Fletcher

 

Étienne Fletcher is a Fransaskois songwriter who has made a name for himself in the music industry across the country. Accompanied by his musicians Sean McCannell and Gaelan Malloy, he puts forward his francophone and anglophone roots on stage and in his songs.

Soirée Dégust'Art

A night of music, art and tasting! Musical presentation and art exhibition with local visual artists. Wine and cheese tasting, and other surprises!

From 1pm to 4pm we propose a traditional art workshop; an afternoon of activities for all ages, sure to please both young and old! 

Snacks and other surprises!

Programs : Face painting, petit cuistot , musical discovery ,concert La rose des vents and Sabrina Robert.

Quebec Film Tour - La Bolduc by François BOUVIER (movie starts at 7:30pm)

Come and discover Quebec cinema: directed by François Bouvier, 'La Bolduc’ takes us into the life of Mary Travers Bolduc (1895-1941), one of the musical icons that has marked Quebec's collective history.

François Bouvier produced successful soap operas such as 30 vies (from 2011 to 2014), Prozac, and Casino II, for which he received a nomination for the Gemini Awards in 2008 for best production of a dramatic series.

The film will be presented with original French audio and sub-titled in English.
